Office Relocation

OptiCare bought a thriving ophthalmology practice in New Haven on Sherman Ave. across the street from Hospital of St. Raphael. The building fell victim to periodic vandalism and break-ins. But it was the bullet found one Monday morning which had passed through the back wall and cracked the toilet bowl, which really convinced Opticare that they had to move.

The challenge was to stay in New Haven sufficiently close to the existing patient base, but to choose a newer and safer location that would both accommodate existing business and allow room for future growth.

After an extensive search led by John Davis, OptiCare chose a new shopping center in New Haven which put them only a few hundred feet from the upscale Woodbridge town line. One neighbor in the plaza was a leading primary care group. All in all, a home run for every project stakeholder!
